Are you quicker than your commute? Can you beat a SEPTA Bus? Join SEPTA and the Clean Air Council as we RACE THE BUS!
Test your speed on Thursday, April 5, and practice your pace for the Run For Clean Air on Sunday, April 22. Here are the details:
Who: All Runners!
What: Race the SEPTA Route 45 Bus at Rush Hour
When: Thursday, April 5th, 5:35 PM (for 5:43 PM race start time)
Where: Broad & Oregon to 11th & Market
We encourage all runners to take the SEPTA Broad Street Line to Oregon Station, and walk from the station to the Bus Stop at Broad & Oregon. From there, the scheduled 5:43 PM Route 45 Bus will be waiting to start its loop, on which it will make all regular stops. This approximately 3-mile course will end in Center City at 11th & Market.
Thanks to our ever-gracious co-host, the Clean Air Council, happy hour will follow the race at MilkBoy on 11th and Chestnut. All Race the Bus participants will receive discounted registration to the Run for Clean Air on April 22. Every participant gets a brand new TRUST THE BUS t-shirt!
