Greenfest Philly is Back!

September 8, 2016

What are you doing this Sunday, ISEPTAPHILLYers?

If you answered, “Attending Greenfest!” you are correct.

While the weather (and heat wave) may think it’s still August, the city knows better. Which is why this Sunday celebrates the 11th anniversary of Greenfest Philly! Greenfest is still the largest environmental festival in the Philadelphia area. There’s a little bit of everything: shopping (locally made and grown items), music, food, demonstrations, activities for kids, and more! With over 150 exhibitors , you’ll have to check it out yourself to appreciate all it has to offer.

SEPTA will be there, so stop by, grab a pin, chat with us about how riding SEPTA instead of driving reduces your carbon footprint, and learn about all of the things SEPTA is doing to ensure that we’re the greenest we can be.

This festival is free, so you have no excuse!

This Sunday, 9/11

10am – 4pm

Headhouse Square (200 Lombard Street, Philadelphia, PA)

Extra points if you go green and go SEPTA. The festival is a short walk from the Market-Frankford Line or hop Routes 12, 25, 40, 42 or 57.

While you're downtown, be sure to check out all the other great things happening around town for after you've enjoyed Greenfest.
