Perk Alert: Philly Improv Theater

Philly Improv Theater is the heart of Philadelphia's nationally recognized comedy scene. Located at 2030 Sansom Street in Center City, Philly Improv Theater, or PHIT, has been making Philly laugh since 2005. PHIT produces over 1,000 performances annually, with shows on multiple stages, seven nights a week, every week of the year.

  • 2/27 at 7:30p: An improv competition with Baxter..

  • 3/1 at 9p: Dyad presents A Fantastic Trip -- improv by duo Maggie Keegan-Landis and Frank Farrell.

  • 3/5: at 7:30p: The Neighborhood hosted by the improv team Neighborhood Watch.

  • 3/6 at 7:30p: VS improv competition between Fjord and On A Saturday

  • 3/7 at 10p: Super Human Horse, a show with two pickup improv teams each performing a set; they're assigned randomly at the start of the show, so these players don't know who they'll perform with! 

  • 3/8 at 7p: Monologues + One-Player Show featuring storytelling by Neil Bardhan.

  • 3/12 at 7:30p: The Neighborhood hosted by the improv team Neighborhood Watch.

  • 3/13 at 7:30p: VS improv competition featuring TBD teams due to the tournament nature of the VS experience!

  • 3/19 at 7:30p: The Neighborhood hosted by the improv team Neighborhood Watch.

  • 3/26 at 7:30p: The Neighborhood hosted by the improv team Neighborhood Watch.

The best part? It's SO easy to get here on SEPTA! Just hop Trolley routes 10, 11, 13, 34, or 36 to 19th Street Station - PHIT is just a short walk away.
