Route of the Week - 129

April 4, 2016

4/4/16 - 4/10/16

Published on April 4, 2016

This week we are exploring SEPTA’s Route 129, which travels from Frankford Avenue & Knights Road to the Oxford Valley Mall. The Route 129 carries an average of 868 passengers on a normal weekday, and makes 34 full trips which run once an hour during peak times.  This route started out in November 1952 as Trenton Philadelphia Coach Line's route from Levittown to Center City Philadelphia. On November 14, 1983 service was restructured and combined with former "SEPTA/Colonial Coach Line" or Route 153 into new Route 129 from Morrell Park to Oxford Valley Mall. Service has been restructured several times since then.

The Route 129 connects with two different SEPTA Regional Rail Stations, Bristol Station and Langhorne Station, which makes it a great connecting route for travel into Center City

The Route 129 is a great route for those who like to shop! The Route 129 travels between Philadelphia Mills and Oxford Valley Mall, with bus stops right at the front of both malls.
