Heading to the Theater? Get Perks!

Do you love the theater? Are you a SEPTA Rider? Then you’re in luck! Just by having a SEPTA TrailPass, Transpass, One Day Independence Pass, SEPTA Key, or SEPTA Employee ID, you’re entitled to discounts at theater venues all over Philadelphia.

We already told you about all the Perks you can get at the Kimmel Center. But the discounted shows don’t stop there. Use your SEPTA Pass to get Perks from the Arden Theatre Company, the Wilma Theatre, and the Media Music Theatre.

Arden Theatre Company, located in Old City, is dedicated to bringing to life great stories by great storytellers. Plays at the Arden range from a variety of styles: classic and contemporary, intimate and epic, fiction and nonfiction, musical and dramatic. Currently playing until February 3 at the Arden is the family-friendly play “A Year with Frog and Toad.” Starting on January 12, the play “John” will be coming to the Arden, telling a moving story about spirituality, relationships, and more.

With your SEPTA Pass, receive $10 off tickets for any Arden production. To get to the Arden Theatre, take the Market-Frankford Line Eastbound to 2nd Street Station. SEPTA Bus Routes 17, 33, or 48 can also get you to the Old City area.

The Arden Theatre

The Wilma Theater is located at the intersection of Broad & Spruce Streets in Center City Philadelphia. The Wilma Theater’s mission is to create living, adventurous art that engages artist and audiences. From January 11 through February 5, the modern play “Constellations” will be running at the theater. “Constellations” tells the fascinating story of a young couple and the parallel universes that surround their decisions.

The Wilma Theatre

The Media Theatre, located in downtown Media, is one of the Philadelphia region’s most popular venues for live theater. As a professional music theater, it features of full season of Broadway musicals from September through May. Running from January 25 to February 19 at the Media Theatre will be the Shakespeare classic "Romeo and Juliet.”

SEPTA Pass holders get $10 off tickets to weekday performances of "Romeo and Juliet." To get there on SEPTA, take Trolley Route 101 or the Media/Elwyn Regional Rail Line to Media Station.
