Streetcars — once pulled by horses — have been on Philadelphia’s roads since 1858, but on December 15, 1892, the city received a “shock” to its transit system: that’s when the electric trolley hit the city’s rails for the first time, on the Catharine-Bainbridge Line. To celebrate 125 years of electric streetcar service in Philadelphia, we wrapped one of our current trolleys to resemble an 1892 streetcar. Now it's your turn to share your #TrolleyLove for a chance to win one of five (5) February TransPasses. All you have to do is tell us what makes trolleys so special - especially here in Philadelphia.

The top fifteen (15) most thoughtful entries will be selected for prizes. Of those, five entries will be selected to receive a February Monthly TransPass. Ten runner-ups will receive a SEPTA t-shirt. Contest ends 1/21. Multiple entries are welcome. Duplicate entries are not.

The love starts now!
