The bustling borough of Media is located in Delaware County, about 12 miles west of Philadelphia. Here you'll find an artful blend of new and traditional, eclectic and sophisticated, international and plain old down-home goodness. Steeped in the history of "Delco", Media has become the life and heart of the region drawing expanded growth from its unique mixture of authentic and contemporary attitudes. Media is also home to The Media Theatre, the only professional theatre in Delaware County, which just so happens to be one of our Perk Partners

How to get there

The SEPTA Media/Elwyn line stops just down the hill from downtown Media. The Media Regional Rail Station is located at 309 Media Station Road. You can also ride SEPTA's Route 101 trolley right to the center of the town. The trolley tracks run along State Street, and the 101 makes stops at each of the major corners. SEPTA Bus Routes 110 and 118 also make stops in town.

Regional Rail Zone 3:

A one-way ticket purchased from a conductor is $7.00 on both weekdays and weekends. If you buy your ticket from a SEPTA sales office beforehand, the fare is $6.00 on weekdays and $5.25 on weekends.

Bus and Trolley:

Your best bet is a SEPTA Key Card. The SEPTA Key is available from Fare Kiosks in SEPTA Transit Stations and is replaceable and reloadable. The SEPTA Key Travel Wallet allows you to pay as you go and you'll receive a discount for each ride ($2.00 versus the $2.50 cash fare). You must load a minimum of $10 [which will get you 5 rides]. Funds in your Travel Wallet can only be used to pay for one (1) person. It cannot be tapped multiple times to pay for anyone traveling with you.

Best part – your SEPTA Key gets you more than just a ride. Flash it for discounts on food, drink, museums, sports, shops and more. Click here for a full list of Partners.
