Let's Go Flyers!

April 12, 2018

With a Superbowl win, an NCAA Championship, and two teams currently in playoffs, it's an exciting time to be a Philadelphia sports fan! Along with their Wells Fargo Center arena-mates the Sixers, the Philadelphia Flyers are officially in the playoffs. The 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs began on Wednesday, 4/11, with the Flyers taking on the Penguins for the first game of a seven-game series. Although they lost, they still have plenty of chances to redeem themselves - including a HOME GAME on Sunday, 4/15!

With the end of the Flyers' regular season, it also means the end of our SEPTA Key to Success contest. Throughout the season, nearly 700 of you tuned into the Flyers pregame and in-game broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia to listen for the SEPTA Key to Success. At the end of each month, we picked ten winners from the entries to win a SEPTA t-shirt. SEPTA t-shirts are cool (if we don't so so ourselves), but we know you were all vying for the grand prize -- an AUTOGRAPHED HOCKEY STICK! Congratulations to Joe and Mike! Your hard work and dedication in listening to the SEPTA Key to Success each game has won you some priceless Flyers memorabilia! If you missed the Key to Success contest, check out our contest page for more opportunities to win.

The regular season may be over, but the Flyers season continues in Philadelphia with playoffs! The Flyers host the Penguins in Game 3 for their first home game of the playoffs on Sunday, 4/15 at 3p. If you're going to a Flyers playoff game at Wells Fargo Center, SEPTA is YOUR Key to success. The Broad Street Line drops you steps from Wells Fargo Center!  Just ride it south to AT&T Station.

One way fare is $2.50 cash or one Quick Trip. Monthly and Weekly TrailPasses and TransPasses are accepted on the Broad Street Line as well as the One Day Convenience Pass and the One Day Independence Pass. Quick Trips are available for $2.50 from the Fare Kiosks located at all Broad Street and Market-Frankford Line stations. You can purchase one-way Quick Trip tickets for travel at any MFL/BSL station for use at any MFL/BSL station. This will allows you the flexibility to buy two Quick Trips at one time – one for the start of your trip, and the second for your return trip. All Quick Trip tickets must be used on the date of purchase. The kiosks accept credit/debit cards and cash [no exact change needed!].

Your best bet for getting down to Wells Fargo Center is a SEPTA Key Card. Like a Quick Trip, it is also available from the Fare Kiosks but unlike a Quick Trip, it is reloadable and reusable. The SEPTA Key Travel Wallet allows you to pay as you go and you'll receive a discount for each ride ($2.00 versus the $2.50 cash fare).

Best part – your SEPTA Key gets you more than just a ride. Once you're down there, flash it for discounts at XFINITY LiveMcFadden's, and the Flyers team store! Click here for a full list of Partners.

Whether you're watching the game on your TV or heading down to Wells Fargo Center, SEPTA is still your Key to Success during playoffs. LET'S GO FLYERS!!!
