Transit Schedule Changes

October 28, 2020

Changes effective Sunday, November 15 and Monday, November 16, 2020.

ICYMI SEPTA is currently operating a modified Summer Schedule. The November schedule change will represent a modified Spring Schedule with school service added for both parochial and public schools and service frequency modifications to reflect changing ridership levels.

Good news - service on routes currently operating 15-15-5 (15 minutes or less, 15 hours a day, 5 days per week Monday-Friday) will be maintained.

Schedule Change Highlights:

Late night train service on weekends on the Broad Street and Market-Frankford Lines will be suspended until further notice to allow for concentrated station and vehicle cleaning. Night Owl Bus Service (12:30a thru 5:30a) will serve designated bus stops adjacent to all Market-Frankford and Broad Street Line Stations. This change reflects restrictions on late night and event activities across the City due to COVID-19 regulations and current ridership patterns.

Broad Street Line Express Service will only operate before 10:00a and after 2:00p.

Between 10:00a and 2:00p, Broad Street Line Local service will operate every 7 minutes offering a comparable level of frequency for midday and evening travel.

As part of our COVID Response and Recovery Plans, SEPTA will continue to monitor current conditions and allocate resources and deliver service based on customer demand. Please check for paper timetables or go here to view these new schedules.

Rider Tips:

😷 A mask or face covering must be worn at all times when traveling on a SEPTA vehicle or in a SEPTA station.

↔️ When possible, please practice social distancing in stations, loops, and transportation centers, and only sit in designated seats.

✅ For contactless fare payment use a SEPTA Key card.
