28th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

On Sunday, 5/13, SEPTA will provide special early morning Regional Rail service to accommodate crowds heading to the 28th Annual Susan G. Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile Fun Walk.

These trips which supplement regularly scheduled Regional Rail service will arrive at Center City stations between 5:30a and 6:45a, just-in-time for the official start of race day events at 7a. The special schedule includes added and early morning service, departing from the following Regional Rail stations (click on the link for station information):

*Train #502 (departing Marcus Hook Station at 5:41a) will operate as scheduled; however, you should refer to the special Saturday & Sunday timetable for all other Wilmington/Newark Line trains.

Please note, Routes 7, 27, 32, 33, 38, 43, 48 and Trolley Route 15 will be detoured around the race course in the area of Benjamin Franklin Parkway between Eakins Oval and Logan Circle and Girard Avenue between Poplar and Lansdowne Drives from 7:30a until 1p.

In addition to the bus detours, riders should also plan for additional travel time and potential travel delays due to traffic congestion in Center City. Specific route detour information will be published on System Status.

Not coming by Regional Rail? Hop the Trolley to 19th or 22nd, the Market-Frankford Line to 15th, or the Broad Street Line to City Hall or Race-Vine.
