New Regional Rail Schedules

New Regional Rail schedules go into effect on Sunday, August 21, 2022.  All lines will see some changes from the current timetables and customers are encouraged to visit the Regional Rail Schedule Changes page. 

Among the highlights of the new schedules are:

  • Service to the new Wawa Station on the Media/Wawa Line

  • Restoration of early morning Airport Line service on Saturday and Sunday

  • Earlier service into Center City on Trenton, Lansdale/Doylestown, and West Trenton Lines

  • Better coordination of Center City trains before 7AM to enhance access to Penn Medicine Station

Wawa Station and Service on the Media/Wawa Line:

Work on SEPTA’s Elwyn to Wawa Service Restoration Project – which is extending service 3.5 miles from Elwyn Station to the new Wawa Station – is wrapping up. The former Media/Elwyn Line is being renamed the Media/Wawa Line - and service to the new Wawa Station [located at 1490 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, PA  19063] will begin on Sunday, August 21.

Thanks to a station naming rights agreement, SEPTA's newest Regional Rail station will bear the name of a hometown institution - Wawa Station.

Highlights –

  • Fully ADA accessible station with a high-level island platform, station building and restrooms

  • 19 Daily Inbound trains (to Center City)

  • 21 Daily Outbound trains (to Wawa)

  • Parking for approximately 600 cars

  • Connections to SEPTA Bus Routes 111 & 114

  • Connections to future pedestrian and bike trails

  • Easy access to Baltimore Pike/Route 1

  • Conveniently located in Middletown Township in the heart of Delaware County and a 10-minute drive from Chester County line
