Wissahickon Transportation Center Construction Project Update

SEPTA is hosting an informational webinar on Thursday, April 27 from 6PM to 7PM via Webex to provide an update on the upcoming construction for the Wissahickon Transportation Center Project.

This Wissahickon Transportation Center Project is a part of SEPTA Bus Revolution and efforts to improve service reliability and customer experience across the bus network.

The Project Includes:

• Fully accessible boarding areas

• Overall safety improvements

• New customer amenities, including improved signage, weather protection, and separate berths for boarding

• Improved service reliability

• Roadway improvements and pedestrian signals

• Being the transit hub for Routes 1, 9, 27, 35, 38, 61, 62, 65, 124, 125, R and introduce Direct Bus B – expected to provide frequent, reliable bus service from Wissahickon Transportation Center along Hunting Park Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard
