As more and more riders make the switch to SEPTA Key, we see more and more taps across the system. All of these taps provide us with real-time info we can use to see which stations have the most boards, which routes are most used by seniors, top transfer times, and more. Every tap helps to shape the future of SEPTA so that we can do a better job serving you.
So this month, we remind you to tap away! If you ride Regional Rail, make it a point to tap the red validator at your home station and tap the turnstile when you come through Center City. If you're a senior citizen, don't just flash your SEPTA Key Senior ID card - tap it (because that's how we get reimbursed from the state so that you can ride for free). And if you ride transit - ride more! Remember, your Weekly/Monthly TransPass becomes an Anywhere TrailPass on weekends so you can ride the rails to visit family, take in a show, and shop the unique main streets in Manayunk, Chestnut Hill, Ardmore, Doylestown, and Media!
Now for the contest part! Friday, December 20 is officially National Wrapping Day - and unofficially National Tapping Day! This month we challenge you to guess how many SEPTA Key card taps we will record on Friday, December 20. Closest guess without going over wins four (4) tickets to the Sixers Game on January 6, 2020 versus the Oklahoma City Thunder and four (4) SEPTA Key cards each loaded with $50 in Travel Wallet to get you there for tip-off. Max five entries per email address. Contest ends 12/20.
