Do you have a unique, customized mask or face covering? Think yours is the best?

Submit a picture of yourself wearing your custom mask or face covering while on a SEPTA vehicle or SEPTA property and you could win a December Pass in SEPTA's latest giveaway contest. Post your pic on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter beginning November 1st and include the hashtag #BestMaskSEPTA in your post. The winner will be chosen based on a set of rounds of customer votes on Twitter and announced on November 22nd and they will receive a December Monthly Pass of their choice on a SEPTA Key card.

Customers will have from Nov. 1st through the 14th to submit their entries (or until 48 entries are received). Beginning November 15th through November 21st, photos of entrants will be posted in a Twitter poll for users to vote for their favorite, with multiple polls each day until a final winner is determined. Polls will run on Twitter and will determine the winners and runners-up based on user votes.

The voting will be “tournament” style, with customers voting on polls where the winners will move onto later rounds of poll voting and the others being eliminated. Winners will then be entered into further polls until there is ultimately one (1) final winner and three (3) runners-up.

Contest rules:

  1. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited. Ordinary mobile service charges do apply.

  2. Promotion period runs until 11:59 PM ET 11/20/20.

  3. To enter, an entrant must post a photograph of themselves with a customized or unique mask or mouth and nose covering while on a SEPTA vehicle or on SEPTA property on one of the following social media channels: Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. The post must include the text ‘#BestMaskSEPTA’. Entries on other social media channels will not be considered. One (1) entry maximum per social media account. Multiple entries with pictures of the same person with the same mask/face covering, posted over different social media platforms will not be eligible beyond the first entry. Contest open only to the first forty-eight (48) qualifying entries, determined by the date of the entry’s post/submission. If less than forty-eight (48) submissions are received, the tournament voting will be adjusted according to the entry total. The winner(s) will be determined by a series of Twitter polls posted for public vote on the @SEPTA_SOCIAL Twitter account.

  4. Entrants must be a resident of the United States, 14 years or older. Employees of SEPTA are not eligible to participate.

  5. No substitution for or transfer of prizes permitted.

  6. All Federal, State, provincial, local and other applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

  7. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and any other rules and regulations adopted by SEPTA.

  8. SEPTA retains sole discretion in disqualifying entries if the messages, masks or imagery is deemed in any way inappropriate for the contest and platform. For example, if the messages, masks or imagery depict political, religious or in some way profane content in nature. Also, messages, masks or imagery representing a competitor (i.e. Amtrak, NJ Transit, etc.) will also be disqualified.

  9. The prize winner will be notified via the messaging function(s) associated with the social media platform used. Participants are responsible for reviewing and responding to their social media account notifications and messaging feature. SEPTA is not responsible if prize winner does not claim prize in a timely fashion.

  10. SEPTA assumes no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information. SEPTA is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction. SEPTA is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes, or in the announcement of any prize winners.

  11. SEPTA reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. SEPTA reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they suspect or find (a) to have tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, (b) to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or (c) to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

  12. Winning entry will be determined by customer voting, with SEPTA's Customer Service Department responsible for keeping the voting tallies. Grand prize is a December Monthly Pass of the winner’s choice loaded on to a SEPTA Key card. All determinations by SEPTA are final. The three (3) runner ups will win the prize of a One Day Independence Pass loaded on a SEPTA Key card.
