Bach in the Subways

Bits header 2

Bach in the Subways is a yearly event created by cellist Dale Henderson to celebrate the birthday of Johann Sebastian Bach. It has become an international  phenomenon since its creation in 2010. Musicians  perform selections of Bach’s music for free in subways all over the world, purely for the love of music.

SEPTA is excited to host this event on March 20, 2020 in the Broad Street Line and the Market-Frankford Line stations. If you're a musician and would like to participate in this year's Bach in the Subways event at a SEPTA subway station, please sign up below! We'd love to help you contribute your talent to this great tradition.
