SEPTA Working to Serve Additional Customers After I-95 Collapse

June 12, 2023

The collapse of I-95 in Philadelphia on Sunday, June 11, 2023 will have a tremendous impact on the region’s transportation network in the coming months.

SEPTA is working with City, state and federal officials to support travel through the City and region.

SEPTA is running more service more often to help support the City and region’s travel needs.

This includes increased capacity on the Trenton, West Trenton, and Fox Chase Regional Rail Lines by adding rail cars to scheduled peak service trains and added service on the Trenton Line. Market-Frankford Line trains will operate every 6 minutes during peak hours.

Parking continues to be free at SEPTA-owned Regional Rail Stations and Parking Authority parking lots near SEPTA stations at Fern Rock, Torresdale, and Fox Chase are also free. Parking (500 spaces) continues to be free at Frankford Transportation Center.
