Go Here: West Chester

June 13, 2019

There’s something satisfyingly charming about a town with a main street. Cramped into a few short blocks, you see almost everything a town has to offer: restaurants and bars, boutiques, thrift stores, music stores. It’s so easy to immerse yourself into the town, like you’ve been living there all your life. You can bounce from one place to the next without much care or consideration.

That’s exactly what West Chester, Pennsylvania has to offer. It’s jammed pack with things to do around every corner! If you’re looking to get dinner, try Andiario’s , which PhillyMag listed as the 11th best restaurant in the area. Or if you’re want a relaxed environment, check out Mas Cantina, where you can get Mexican cuisine at a reasonable price. Maybe you want a Friday night of dancing? Head to Barnaby’s or Kildare’s. Want to lose track of time in a book store? Then Second Reading II Bookstore is the perfect spot for you. Musicians from all over the area flock to Taylor’s Music Store & Studios for lessons and to buy and repair their instruments. This paragraph barely scratches the surface of the life West Chester has! It really needs to be experienced first-hand.

West Chester is very conveniently serviced by SEPTA. Bus Route 104 travels from 69th Street Transportation Center in Upper Darby to West Chester University and back, and passes right through the center of town. Bus Route 92 also has stops in West Chester, in between its ends of the Exton Mall and King of Prussia Mall. So make time this weekend to explore everything this town has to offer.

Plan your trip here!
