Chinatown

Stretching from Arch Street to Vine Street, and from 11th street to 8th Street, Chinatown is packed end-to-end with restaurants and stores that represent Hong Kong, Cantonese, Fujianese, Northern Sichuan and Taiwanese cultures, with a sprinkling of Korean, Thai, Malaysian, Burmese, and Vietnamese. Beyond the iconic Chinatown Friendship Gate, visitors can look forward to delicious food from acclaimed restaurants and street vendors, fabulous shops, seasonal street festivals, and more.

How to get there

Chinatown is a short walk from Jefferson Station (Regional Rail), 8th Street and 11th Street Stations (Market-Frankford Line), Chinatown and 8th Street Stations (Broad-Ridge Spur) and City Hall (Broad Street Line). Multiple Bus Routes also serve Chinatown.

You'll get a great workout in this class that combines bodyweight exercises and boxing combinations. Let the good times roll! The retro roller rink at Dilworth Park returns for the spring season - from 4/22 thru 6/17. Lace up your own skates, or rent a pair for $5. Note: Online reservations are strongly recommended for one-hour skate sessions. In between laps, an on-site beer garden serves up brews, cocktails and light fare. Get here on SEPTA! Open select dates from 4/22 thru 5/28, this pop-up marketplace in LOVE Park features vendors from the African American and Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. New Black- and Brown-owned businesses rotate into the space each weekend, selling apparel, health and wellness items, pre-packaged goods and custom artwork from local artists. It's so easy to get to LOVE Park on SEPTA! The Cauldron Philadelphia

Double, double, toil and trouble. Philly’s first potion bar this way comes - opening on Friday! Inspired by (but not affiliated with) several magical literary worlds, The Cauldron Philadelphia serves up inventive molecular cocktails and mocktails that smoke, change color or expand — just like, well, magic. Visitors can also purchase tickets to a potion-making class to brew their own alcoholic concoctions in a self-guided lesson with the aid of their very own “magic wand.” Note: Children’s classes are also available, but only on specified dates and times. Get there on SEPTA! Just a short walk from the Walnut-Locust Station on the Broad Street Line.
