Kimmel Cultural Campus

The Kimmel Cultural Campus is comprised of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts (Verizon Hall, Perelman Theater, SEI Innovation Studio, and the Merck Arts Education Center), the Academy of Music (owned by the Philadelphia Orchestra Association), and the Merriam Theater. Together, they host some of Philadelphia's premiere concerts, shows, and art exhibits. 

How to get there

To get here on SEPTA, take the Broad Street Line to Walnut-Locust Station and the campus is steps away. If riding a bus is more your style, Routes 4, 9, 12, 16, 21, 27, 32, 40 & 42 all drop you within a block or two. You can also take the Market-Frankford Line or Trolley Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, or 36 to 15th Street Station. If riding Regional Rail, take any line to Suburban Station and the Kimmel Cultural Campus  is a short walk away.

Dilworth Park

Pop ups abound in Center City’s Dilworth Park every holiday season. Friday brings the return of two beloved holiday attractions to the very center of Center City. Residents and visitors can embrace the holiday cheer by cruising around the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink, offering timed, 90-minute skating sessions right next to City Hall. And in the Rothman Orthopedics Cabin, relaxation comes easy thanks to seasonal cocktails and food in a ski chalet-inspired setup. November 1 brings the very first (of many) holiday attractions to Philadelphia. From Monday through spring 2022, residents and visitors can stroll through the Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn, a free-to-explore, open-air wonderland of lights, topiaries and rustic décor perfect for photo ops in Dilworth Park. For the 21-plus set, a Chaddsford Winery kiosk on-site sells warm mulled wine. Shopping local and supporting area makers is easy at the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market, opening this Saturday at Dilworth Park. Shoppers can find handmade crafts, jewelry, clothing, home décor and treats from more than 40 local vendors scattered throughout the park. The market is one of five holiday attractions that make up this year’s Winter at Dilworth Park programming, which also includes an ice-skating rink, a cabin, a light show on City Hall and a wintergarden.
