A world-renowned collection. A place that welcomes everyone. We bring the arts to life, inspiring visitors—through scholarly study and creative play—to discover the spirit of imagination that lies in everyone. We connect people with the arts in rich and varied ways, making the experience of the Museum surprising, lively, and always memorable. We are committed to inviting visitors to see the world—and themselves—anew through the beauty and expressive power of the arts.

How to get there

Bus Routes 7, 32, 38, 43 & 48 all serve the Museum area. Route 38 drops you at the front door! Click PLAN YOUR TRIP to discover your best way there.

Fare

Bus one-way fare is $2.50 cash. You must have exact change if paying the operator. The operator cannot make change. Tokens are still accepted. If you have a TransPass, TrailPass, Convenience Pass or One Day Independence Pass - that will also work!

If you don't have a Pass, your best bet, is a SEPTA Key Card. The SEPTA Key Travel Wallet allows you to pay as you go and you'll receive a discount for each ride ($2.00 versus the $2.50 cash fare). You must load a minimum of $10 [which will get you 5 rides]. Funds in your Travel Wallet can only be used to pay for one (1) person. It cannot be tapped multiple times to pay for anyone traveling with you.

Best part – your SEPTA Key gets you more than just a ride. Flash it for discounts on food, drink, museums, sports, shops and more. Click here for a full list of Partners.
