King of Prussia Mall

Located about 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia, King of Prussia Mall is the largest retail mall on the East Coast. Featuring a diverse mix of over 400 stores, including Nordstrom, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, and a collection of luxury retailers unsurpassed in the region, King of Prussia is one of the most iconic malls in the nation.

How to get there

Even though the King of Prussia Mall isn’t serviced by direct rail access, the Paoli/Thorndale LineManayunk/Norristown Line, and Norristown High Speed Line have stops not far from KOP.

Bus

Routes 124 and 125 - Service from Center City 

There is also a large connection of Bus Routes at King of Prussia Mall that service the entire KOP area: 

Route 92 - Service from Exton Square Mall to King of Prussia Plaza

Route 95 - Service from Willow Grove Park Mall to Gulph Mills Station

Route 99 - Service from Phoenixville to Norristown Transportation Station

Route 123 - Service from 69th Street Transportation Center to King of Prussia Plaza

Route 139 - Service from Limerick to King of Prussia Plaza

Fare

Bus / Norristown High Speed Line:

One-way cash fare is $2.50 cash for both the Bus and Norristown High Speed Line. 

You may want to consider a SEPTA Key Card. The SEPTA Key is a reloadable, reusable card. The SEPTA Key Travel Wallet allows you to pay as you go and you'll receive a discount for each ride ($2.00 versus the $2.50 cash fare). You must load a minimum of $10 [which will get you 5 rides]. Funds in your Travel Wallet can only be used to pay for one (1) person. It cannot be tapped multiple times to pay for anyone traveling with you. 

A SEPTA One Day Convenience Pass is good for rides on all BusesMarket-Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, and Trolleys  - including the Norristown High Speed Line. Valid for eight rides in one calendar day by one person for $9.00. It is NOT valid for travel on Regional Rail. The pass is activated upon its first presentation to a SEPTA Operator or Cashier. A One Day Convenience Pass can be loaded on a SEPTA Key Card at a Fare Kiosk, or at a  SEPTA Sales Office.

You pay for the NHSL when you enter the train. Walk through the front door of the train and make sure to tap your SEPTA Key or swipe your SEPTA Pass at the validator or fare box next to the Operator. If you have exact change, make sure to place the change into the fare box next to the Operator. 

Regional Rail:

The best and most cost-effective option is to buy your ticket ahead of time from a SEPTA Sales Office. Tickets purchased from there will cost $5.25 and $6.75 on weekdays, and between $4.25 and $5.25 on weekends.  A one-way ticket purchased from a conductor costs between $6 and $8 (depending on your zone) on weekdays and between $5.00 and $7 on weekends.

Have a paper TransPass or TransPass loaded on your SEPTA Key? You're in luck! You can use your TransPass on ALL SEPTA Regional Rail Lines on weekends!

You can also purchase an Independence Pass for $13 (one person) or $30 (families). This allows you unlimited one-day travel on SEPTA Buses, the Market-Frankford Line, Broad Street LineTrolleysNorristown High Speed Line, and Regional Rail. Independence Passes can be purchased beforehand at a SEPTA Sales Office, or on-board a Regional Rail Train from your Conductor.

Other Amenities

The connector is a commuter shuttle bus service connecting King of Prussia business park employees to SEPTA Regional Rail at the Norristown Transportation Center and Wayne Station M-F during the AM and PM rush hours.

At King of Prussia, you'll find offerings for every taste and budget, from luxury to your favorite national and international brand retailers. A delectable selection of international dining options are available at three unique food courts and in casual and sit down restaurants. 

Across the street from the mall is United Artist Movie Theatre with IMAX. With 16 different theaters including an IMAX, its the perfect place to catch a movie after a day of shopping. Close by the mall is the Valley Forge Casino Resort, which is a great venue for events and conferences, along with lots of hotels around the area. Valley Forge National Historical Park is also in the area and provides running and biking trails for visitors along with guided tours of the park.
