October 26, 2022

LET’S GO PHILLIES!!

The Phillies are playing in their first World Series since 2009! Yay Phillies!

The first two games of the series are in Houston and it seems only super-lucky fans scored tickets to the games here in Philadelphia. But that doesn't matter - because there are SO many places to watch the games - and SO many SAFE ways to get there and home on SEPTA!

Here's a short list of places to go - on SEPTA!

Hop the Broad Street Line south to NRG Station to cheer on the Fightin’ Phils at one of the biggest watch parties in Philadelphia - Xfinity Live!

What's a Phillies game without Crabfries? With locations in South Philly, Northeast Philly, Malvern, and Drexel Hill (to name a few) - Chickie's & Pete's is a great place to watch a big game! The South Philly location is an 11-minute walk from Oregon Station on the Broad Street Line. Both the Boulevard Direct and Route 14 stop at the Roosevelt Boulevard location. Routes 1, 20, 50, 128, 130 & 150 all serve the Parx Casino location - or hop the West Trenton Line to Trevose - from there it's a 9 minute cab, Uber or Lyft ride to Parx! Use our Trip Planner to find your best way there!

Frankford Hall in Fishtown has indoor and outdoor seating as well as huge screens to watch the game. To get here on SEPTA - hop the Market-Frankford Line to Girard or Routes 5, 15, 25 or 57.

Independence Beer Garden is a block from 5th Street/Independence Hall Station on the Market-Frankford Line and a short walk (about 5 minutes) from Jefferson Station. You can also hop Routes 9, 17, 33, 38, 44, 47 or 57. The projector will be set up for fans to watch the game!

Cavanaugh's has four locations in Philadelphia (Rittenhouse, Headhouse Square, University City, and Columbus Boulevard) - all are great spots to catch a game and all are SEPTA accessible! Use our Trip Planner to find your best way there!

PRO TOP: If you're at Cavanaugh's Headhouse on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday - flash your SEPTA Key card to receive 20% off your food bill!

Watch the Phillies make history again at the centuries-old Philly Irish pub - McGillin's Old Ale House in Center City. Ride the Market-Frankford Line to 13th Street, Broad Street Line to Walnut-Locust, Trolley Routes to 13th Street, and any Regional Rail Line to Jefferson Station. It's a quick walk from Market Street to Drury Street if you stay on 13th Street. There are also several Bus Routes - including Routes 9, 12, 21, 23, 42, and 45 - that get you close!

If you're headed to Manayunk - there's no shortage of sports bars and pubs to catch the games. Take the Manayunk/Norristown Line to Manayunk Station, Wissahickon Station, or Ivy Ridge Station or hop Bus Routes 9273561, or 62. Plan your trip here.
