Route 45 is a bus route.
Route 45 starts in South Philly at Broad Street and Oregon Avenue - by Marconi Plaza. It runs north on 11th Street through South Philly [right by Passyunk Avenue] and Center City until it reaches it's terminus - aka final destination - 11th and Noble Streets.
Route 45 runs south on 12th Street until it returns to Broad Street and Oregon Avenue.
One of the best parts of this Route is that it's a 15-15-5 route. That means - it runs every 15 minutes or less for at least 15 hours a day (6a-9p), 5 days a week. If you're going within that time period - the buses are running so frequently they aren't even listed on the schedule. It costs $2.50 cash (exact change required) to ride the bus - $2 if you have a SEPTA Key card with Travel Wallet and you can TRANSFER for FREE.
At Broad Street and Oregon Avenue - you can connect to the Broad Street Line at Oregon Station -where you can also connect to Bus Routes 4, 7, 68, and G.
Connections at Jefferson Station: Regional Rail, Market-Frankford Line, Broad-Ridge Spur, and Bus Routes 17, 23, 33, 38, 44, 47, 47M, 48, 61, and 62.
